Did you have your eggs and bacon with your coffee? Did you have your toast and butter yet today? If you had a bowl of oatmeal, thank a farmer! 'Cause the food you eat comes from them everyday. If you had a steak for dinner, or some chicken. If you had a glass of milk or apple pie. If you had your fruit and veggies with potatoes thank a farmer, yeah he's one hell of a guy. [Inst.] If you like those wool pajamas that you sleep in, those cotton sheets you lay on every night. All those things, they start back at the farmer and he's working hard to make things turn out right. If you like to drink that beer and that whisky, or smoke a big ol' stogy with your wine. The farm's the place that makes all those things happen, so make sure to thank a farmer every time. [Inst.] There's things I bet you didn't know come from the farmer, from the spark plugs to the fluids in your car. From the medicine, the makeup, and the jewelry. without the farmer we'd have never got this far. From the clothes that keep you warm in the winter, to the sun block when the sun is way too bright. Take a minute and just think of the farmer, 'cause he's probably out there in his fields tonight

How could someone hurt a child? How could someone cause them pain? But it's on the news everyday another child is lost again. I wonder what goes through the mind of the one that takes them away, from the loving home of their family and the place they love to play. Another family on the T.V, begging for their childs return. Their eyes filled right up with tears and their faces are so stern. They say "Please come home to us baby." They pray that everything's alright. Something bad has happened, their baby won't be home tonight. [Chorus] Bring them back, all the children that are missing. Bring them back, all the kids that have passed on. Bring them back, to the arms of their loved ones. Bring them back, to the place where they belong. A little girl in the city, asking "Why were they taken from me?" What happened in their home was tragic and for what no one could see. Her brother and her sister and her Mom were killed today. As her father put his little girl to bed through the door he heard her pray. God bring them back, back my sister and my brother. Bring them back, oh God I wish my Mom was here. Bring the back, to be here with me and Daddy. Bring them back, taking them was so unfair. [Chorus] Bring them back, all the children that are missing Bring them back, all the kids that have passed on. Bring them back, to the arms of their loved ones. Bring them back, to the place where they belong. Bring them back, to the place that they call home.

Farmer Joe 03:51
Farmer Joe was a kind old soul, spent his time by the fishing hole, since the bank came in and took his farm away. His wheat didn't yield and his corn didn't grow, the banker said "It's time to go." so he packed his bags and then went on his way. All the things he accomplished way back when, taken by the stroke of a banker's pen. Now he ain't got a thing to show for what he's done. His farm's been theirs for a hundred years, the day he left he shed a million tears. He's got nothing left to leave his son. They held the auction at the farm today, and he watched as they took his things away like his old combine, his tractor, and his truck. But the thing they took that meant the most, you see, was when they took Joe's dignity. He's got nothing left to leave his son. Yeah, all day long by the fishing hole, he catches fish and searches his soul wondering where he went wrong and what he's done. Where old Joe's farm used to be, sits a Wal Mart and a Dairy Queen. Where his barn once stood is now a parking lot. His pasture field and his favourite tree; taken over by industry. Now his fishing hole is all that he has got. Someday it will too be gone and Joe will have to move along to find another place to call his own. 'Cause they just put up a new hardware store, a super market, and a whole lot more like a place called Shady Acres Nursing Home. Old Joe caught his last fish today and they wept as they carried him away, to his final resting place down by the lake. Now he's off to a better place, he died with a big smile on his face. His faith in God was a thing no one could shake. (Repeat) Today when you look up in the clouds, you'll see old Joe looking down from his new home that no one will ever take.

There are lonely times in this heart of mine; people say it happens to everyone. There's a world out there, where people really care. I think it's time for me to find someone. Sometimes I think that I'm all alone when I look and find there's no one in my life. I'm not the only one, who doesn't have someone to hold so I just dream of someone in my head. [Chorus] Dreaming of a girl with big brown eyes. Dreaming of a girl with long brown hair, a little ray of sunshine in my life. Yes I'm thinking of the girl of my dreams. One day I awoke, and she was standing there. The girl that I had been dreaming of, the one I know who cares. I took her in my arms, asked her to marry me. Now the girl of my dreams is mine for life. [Chorus] Dreaming of a girl with big brown eyes. Dreaming of a girl with long brown hair, a little ray of sunshine in my life. Yes I'm thinking of the girl of my dreams. Yes I'm thinking of the girl of my dreams.
